College Access Center to Host Block Party & Cook Out

College Access Center to Host Block Party & Cook Out to Kick Off Their FREE Summer College Prep Testing & Enrichment Boot Camps 

The College Access Center will kick off its 6th Annual Summer Academic Boot Camp activities with a FREE Block Party & Cook Out on Saturday June 20th from 12:00pm-4:00pm. 

Delaware County high school students and parents are strongly encouraged to use this activity to register for the Test Prep Workshop Series and the Road Map To College Program as a precursor to preparing The Test Prep Series introduces and prepares students for a variety of tests including the SAT, ACT, PSAT, AVSB, and vocational exams.  These workshops also provide tips for increased concentration, focus, and developing studying habits for greater success in test preparation.

The Road Map To College Program is an enrichment initiative specifically designed to provide intensive and ongoing informational, motivational, and educational support for students serious who are ready to seriously begin the pursuit of their college dreams.   Participants receive direct mentoring, academic coaching, college application and financial aid workshops, college tours, career exploration assistance, along with personal development, leadership, and resiliency training.

These workshops are offered EVERY Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday beginning Tuesday July 7th and ending on Thursday July 30th with Road Map from 10:30am-12:30pm and Test Prep from 1:30pm-

Summer Boot Camp applications will be accepted on a 1st come basis until we fill up.  Our capacity for each program is capped at 30 students and the seats fill up very fast.
